Good God there’s a site ( you can click here ) tracking bigoted remarks and stuff aimed at Obama. It’s bad enough he and his campaign had to put up “Fight the Smears” to retaliate against blatant lies, but to think that we live in a country that still goes after crude generalizations and blatant stereotypes is flabbergasting. The spray painted truck and Curious George t-shirts are somewhat excusable, since I can chalk that up to an ignorant faction of society. But art galleries, so called reputable news organizations, and so called educated and informed people have no excuse and are an embarrassment.

Okay, it’s one thing for Celine Dion to just be annoying and snotty and a self absorbed douche. But when she actually starts to cover hard rock heavy metal bands, like AC/DC , the Canadian government needs to take action. She needs to stick to Fleetwood Mac and Bob Denver, and maybe a national anthem every once in a while.

Oh, and the other skank screeching with her, should be shot. Unless either of them can wear a school boy outfit or burst a vein doing this song (neither of which I’d want to see), they should leave this to the likes of Angus and Malcolm Young, the way it was meant to be played.

I can’t believe that the sanctity of marriage is the argument conservatives bring up when the issue of gay marriage comes up. This coming from a society who allows several seasons of “Bachelor” and “Who Wants to Marry a Millionaire” to continue pimping out women for TV. People who use marriage for nothing more than an opportunity to be on TV and marry into money.

I could go with the usual, “They have a right to be miserable like the rest of us” comment, but that would be too easy.

McCain commented on California’s gay marriage ruling in Virginia.

“Marriage is sacred, between a man and a woman,” he said, standing next to his more sacred than the first, hot, rich wife.

Well, Fox News has done it again.
They caught Obama plagiarizing Mayor Cuomo. Here’s the clip.

If Cuomo coined the word “Maybe” then I have to agree that Obama is a copy-cat. This is the same idiot news caster, Michelle Malkin, that said Rachel Ray was wearing an Arab scarf in a Dunkin’ Donuts ad. How does she still have a job?

I don’t know why this amazes me. It should make me laugh more than anything else. The sad part is that people watch this crap and believe it. How can a news organization be so biased? Fox goes beyond biased. They blatantly report lies and rumors in the name of news. They’re just not as entertaining as the Onion or Norm MacDonald.

This is the same station that reported on Obama’s “terrorist fist jab”, Rachel Ray’s terrorist scarf, and called Michelle Obama, “Obama’s baby mama”.

Jackasses.

So Barack and Michelle Obama fist tap, bump, or “dap” as it’s called has been scrutinized to a ridiculous extent. Especially by a Fox News talking head who called it a “Terrorist Fist Jab”. I think she lost her job. If she didn’t she should. What happened to delays or recorded TV? Fox of all the organizations should know better than to run live tape.

How desperate do you have to be as a completely biased news organization to see that as terrorist gesture? It could have been a gang thing too, no? What about the pat on the ass he gives her shortly after this outrageous maneuver? Pornographic? Condescending? Misogynistic? Maybe he beats his wife and this time did it in public. Well, he can forget about the Hillary woman’s vote now. That jihad bump and male chauvinist tap just cost you the election pal.

Or maybe he and his wife are pals and love each other. Support each other and are on the same team, unlike so many other couples. Did anyone think of putting that contemptuous possibility out there?

I don’t know whether to respect or pity a guy who puts up a web site called Fight the Smears, to counter the onslaught of garbage coming his way.

Presumptive or not, Obama’s going to be running against McCain. When can we stop referring to him as the presumptive nominee? It’s a done deal. Stop it!

I’d like to see if we can get through the rest of the year, or at least until November without prefacing either of them with any kind of qualifier. Is that possible?

Probably not, so we’ll need a 2009 election drinking game and we’ll take a drink any time and every time Obama’s blackness is pointed out and another whenever we hear that McCain was a war hero.
