Palin’s appearance on SNL last night was laaaaaaaaaaaame. Horrible, would be another way to describe it. It’s really not even worth posting a clip here. And take my word for it, unless you like comedians bomb, or get some sick pleasure watching horrible actors embarrass themselves on stage, it’s not even worth a search.

I got some sick pleasure out of a search I did. Searching for Palin on SNL comes back with one significant hit from the Washington Post.

Palin drops in on “Saturday Night Live”

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin put in a widely anticipated appearance on “Saturday Night Live,” sharing the stage with a host of top stars including Mark Wahlberg, Alec Baldwin and of course Tina Fey, the former SNL star whose impression of Palin has garnered almost as much attention as the Alaska governor herself. The TV show opened with a mock press conference in which Palin’s spokesman requested that the press “don’t write anything down.”

That’s it. In the entertainment section. Hardly worth a mention.

Wouldn’t it be nice if this was a sign - even a small one - that the press is ignoring desperate attempts like Palin’s to gain acceptance by any means?

What really kicked ass was Colin Powell’s endorsement of Obama. For that, I have a link.

It really pisses me off that these self proclaimed “reporters” and news people assume that we’re all a bunch of idiots hanging on their every word and that we’re not intelligent enough to look this stuff up ourselves.

This asshole, William La Jeunesse, had this to say:

Tonight as those candidates debate, an army of Internet fact checkers will be trying to separate fact from fiction, acting as judge and jury as to which candidate is telling the truth or a tall tale. While most of these sites are non-partisan, timely and useful, like Factcheck.org and Politifact, remember, they are uh…well, their facts are — no one is checking the fact checkers. And their facts…unlike science…the facts are not irrefutable. And now to Washington.

He most likely got his info from McCain’s Truth Squad.

And Michelle Malkin, that untalented lieing hack had a piece yesterday about an SNL skit being pulled by the evil lefties and the conspiracy that surrounds it.

The Sandlers are seething over the skit. And George Soros must be livid as well. Anyone else smell a legal threat behind the disappearance of the vid?

Hey Michelle, sweetheart, put down the pipe, get off You Tube and Hulu and try going right (not left) to the NBC and SNL site. Holy crap! The “vid” magically reappeared! I just watched it.

And why does this have to be about Democrats or the left? Did Malkin ever consider that something other than political allegiance might motivate someone?

I haven’t been too happy with SNL in general, and I can’t say I’m laughing my balls off that much these days. But they’ve done a good job with Palin and even with Biden this time. But then again with those two there’s not a lot of comedy writing required to come up with a good and accurate skit.

It seems that Christmas is coming early this year. More of Couric’s interviews with Palin will air.

In the mean time check these out from SNL…

and while it’s not much different from the real one…
