Geithner: "#@&$ you you #@&$-ing #@&$!!"

It's about fucking time.

I always thought Geithner was little wimp. Kind of a little ball-less math geek pussy. You'd watch him meekly beg Congress for another billion and he always looked like he was going to cry or needed a drink. A little sweaty twitching dweeb.

Friday Geithner lost it. He lost it with bank regulators in what the Huff Post referred to as a profanity-laced-tirade. I guess there's just so much lunch money you steal from a kid. Good to know someone is trying to do something for us.

Apparently it's not enough for idiots with articles like "Tax cheat Geithner spews profanity at meeting with top U.S. financial regulators – Its the Chicago way!"

You can tell the site is the makings of a total douche because he links to Michelle Malkin's web site, also covering the Geithner's tantrum. Malkin's only reason to write her ridiculous rants is to complain about what the current administration is doing and when she can't find anything legit, she makes shit up. Just complain because because they're not in agreement with her brand of teabagging, going-Galt-wingnut politics.

I'm glad Geithner went off. I'm glad he got pissed off. I'm glad he's had enough. It's about time. I just hope it's not too late.

Jon Stewart Makes Me Sick

It seems to surprise most news monkeys that 44% of people in this country think that Jon Stewart is the most trusted newscaster in the country. Here's the link to the Google results to not taint the pool with “partisan” gloating by liberals at Huffington post like Nancy Snow or Jason Linkins.

How is this a surprise when we have the likes of Hannity, Beck, and any other of the biased asswipes on Faux News? Even the nightly local shit is riddled with sensationalist conjecture and more stories about Brittney's twat shot, cheating politicos from the “other side” and the occasional Pig Flu outbreak that killed less people this year than the real flu kills every year.

Look, Stewart covers the news people care about. Like where the fuck our money is going. What banks are hosing use. Why twits like Kramer are in the banks pocket when they're supposed to be informing us.

Us! Who the news is designed to inform. Not some propagandized script that designed to keep us all medicated and happy.

Even now with the economy tanking and unemployment near 20% you'd think the country was on the upswing with how it's being read ... uhm, reported.

If you doubt that Stewart is legit watch him on Moyer watch him with Peter Jennings (who took the number two slot in the poll)

Shit just watch the Daily Show and learn something. Watch who comes on his show and watch how an interview should be conducted.

Jon Stewart made me start paying attention to what's happening and I attribute him to constant feeling of nausea I have because I started to pay attention.

Sharing Info is Good Karma

I have always been pretty open to sharing tips and tricks of my profession along the way the result of how I was treated and trained at my very first job waiting tables. My "trainer" actually became a life-long friend. While she was cool, kind, and friendly, she didn't hold back - she shared what worked, what didn't, and how to make a good tip. Along the way, I've been pretty fortunate with those more experienced sharing knowledge learned. And I've done my part in sharing back - even though there have been more times than I care to remember that ideas have been "borrowed" - particularly in the creative area.

So it's been more than encouraging and deeply rewarding to bump into photographers willing to share. One in particular, K2 deserves a real Yay award gold star. I honestly believe that only good things come from being open and sharing knowledge. Thank you Allen! And if you ever find yourself in need of a talented photographer in CO - be sure to check out K2 Photo Studio.

Savvy Service

It's rare these days to stumble across a website that seems to have everything and then some you've been searching for....and it's even more rare that the products live up to what's displayed. This wasn't the case with AVhow, a website with photography related products including templates for custom album design and a fast track to Photoshop (targeted at a beginner, but a great refresher for those intermediate and above).

I downloaded the album design templates to test them out. Everything downloaded as advertised (fast and complete), and in the folder were tutorials and the templates. I dreaded going through the "eyes glaze over" experience I usually encounter in watching tutorials listening to someone explain things I never use or will use or even care to know about using, so I was blown away surprised that the tutorials were actually easy to follow, understand, concise, to the point, efficient and actually enjoyable.

I went back to the site to submit my thoughts along with my gratitude and heard from the person behind it all - Max. Who turns out to be a really talented and generous individual. One wishes more products and companies were honest about their products and services and a little more kind and enjoyable in the delivery.

For those of you who are - YAY....and for any photographer out there, check out AVhow. You won't be disappointed.

No Shitheadery in China

Some things, even stupid things sometimes just make you feel good. When a government sees you as unfit for human consumption, that's usually a pretty good sign that you're doing something right.

This is what one guy had to say on Bob Cesca's blog:

I knew your site had to be good since it was blocked here in China and I had to use a proxy server to find it. That could also be because they automatically block sites that have the word shit in them.

Thanks emsique .
